This is the English variation of the anodized (or ‘Staybrite’) ‘Queen’s crown’ “Penitentiaries Canada” cap badge.  Apart from the change of design in the crown, this version has a more graphic, angular representation of the maple leaf at center as opposed to the naturalistic representation in previous versions. The fastening consists of two screw and nut posts oriented horizontally, one on each side.
